Assistance  offered:

Lassen Family Services is still offering all services,  including; Assistance with restraining orders, shelter placement of  Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault survivors, assistance with housing for Domestic Violence survivors, counseling, crisis  intervention, and accompaniment when absolutely necessary. 


Modifications made due to COVID-19 (novel coronavirus): Lassen Family Services employees are currently working remotely. We are  available via phone, email, and/or are implementing Tele-Med services. When situations cannot be resolved through these methods, a  staff member will respond and take whatever action is necessary to  ensure that our victims are safe.


In response to COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), Lassen Family Services has closed their physical offices but all services will be available by phone. Services include domestic violence  education, safety planning, case management, legal advocacy, crisis intervention services and more. The Clothing Closet will be available for emergencies only.  Those in need should contact Lassen Family Services by phone.

Lassen HEARTS

Assistance  offered:

Lassen HEARTS is available to help connect families to health, education, advocacy, resources, training and screenings. Lassen HEARTS is open and still providing all services to families.

LMUD- Lassen Municipal Utility District

 The LMUD office is closed to the public. We continue to provide services via phone and email. Customers can email, for general questions. Contact us by phone to make a payment or speak to a customer service representative.


LMUD has suspended disconnect for non-payment through April 30, 2020. We are waiving late penalties through 4/30/20 as well. For those customers who have suffered a loss of income and cannot pay their bill, we offer bill pay assistance through the Susanville Salvation Army.


LMUD personnel are still responding to outage calls and emergency service calls, however, staff is limiting contact with the public as much as possible.
